Street Legal Nissan 240sx Brake Line Kits
In the past we've
bought and sold DOT brake line kits
from suppliers like Russell and Goodridge;
however, we constantly were fighting
manufacturer back-orders and lee times
which frustrated the hell out of the
owner. To solve this problem we purchased
Western Canada's only Brakequip brakeline
manufacturing machine and now manufacture
our own DOT stainless brake lines in
house. - No other Nissan 240sx specialty
shop in the world can do this. What
this has given PDM the ability to do
is to custom make DOT Stainless brakelines
for most vehicle applications.
For
the ultimate in braking performance,
nothing beats PDM Brakestop pre-assembled,
direct bolt-on DOT Legal Brake Line
Kits. These brake lines meet the strict
guidelines of the D.O.T. MVSS-106 requirements
for street driven vehicles and are legal
in all 50 states. Brakestop Brake Line
Kits feature stainless steel braided
hose with zinc plated fittings assembled
for installation convenience. Replacement
of original 240SX rubber lines with
Brakestop brake lines increases braking
performance and reduces brake pedal
travel due to the elimination of hose
expansion common to the factory Nissan
rubber lines.

PDM Racing Brakestop Stainless Lines for 300ZX Calipers
The unfortunate
part in converting your 240SX stock
brakes to 300ZX 4 piston calipers is
that on the stock 300ZX set-up, Nissan
plumbs a hard metal line from the strut
assembly to the caliper, and then supplies
regular rubber line from the strut to
the fender well. The stock 240SX brake
line relies on a 10 mm banjo fitting
at the caliper along with brass washers,
to create the proper brake line seal.
On the 300ZX caliper, |
Nissan
relies on an inverted female flare with
the appropriate male brake line flare
to seal. Using your stock 240SX lines
on the 300ZX aluminum calipers is both
incorrect, and unsafe. (the 300ZX caliper
is NOT designed to accept the mating
surface of a banjo fitting) |

To convert the 240SX
over properly, we at PDM manufacture
high quality DOT brake parts for a
safe, and trouble free performance
brake line conversion.
We tried to have
a DOT rated line made up by various
suppliers, however, the cost was more
than for us to custom make them, and
we always ran into manufacturer supply
delays -- something we hate. PDM Racing
now has Western Canada's only Brakequip
brakeline manufacturing machine and
has the ability to custom make DOT
Stainless brakelines for most vehicle
applications.
Note: This kit includes
2 lines with custom fittings to install
two Front 26mm/30mm 300ZX Calipers on
your S13/S14 240SX. This kit does not
include rear lines.

Russell Speed Bleeders
Everyone knows that
one of the most difficult parts of any
brake job is finding someone willing
to help you bleed the brakes. Russell
Speed Bleeders can change that forever.
The computer engineered and wound spring
controls the movement of the centerless
ground 410 stainless steel ball so that
air and moisture are unable to enter
the system when the brake pedal is released.
Translation - you no longer have to
act as a human valve, opening and closing
the bleeder screw between brake pedal
pumps. Open the Speed Bleeder before
you start pumping the brake pedal, and
close after you finish pumping dirty
fluid and air out of the brake system.
Worth their price in the time savings
alone.
